Hello Everyone and welcome to our page on how you can enhance your next Backcountry Cat Skiing excursion with us by simply adding a helicopter lift to and from the lodge right from the heliport in Pemberton Meadows! 

 

The lodge is remote and, the default access to Backcountry Snowcats is an hour and a half snowmobile adventure ride both in and out.  We quickly realized that this is a deterrent to some of our clientele so, for our tours in 2018, we worked with Kathy & Reg and Blackcomb Helicopters to add the option of taking a ride on the wild side and hop in to ski their little piece of paradise, by air.  We're pleased to say that his option is available on all the Backcountry Snowcats tour dates coming up in winter 2019.

 

The additional cost is $530.00 - $675.00 for the return heli lift to and from the lodge, depending on the number of passengers. When comparing this option to accessing any Cat Skiing operation in the Interior where you need to travel a day [4-500 km] in either direction and require a hotel night on each end, you can quickly see the metrics of this option makes sense.

Remember, you don't need to be enrolled in the SST Ski Program on Whistler/Blackcomb to join this or any of the SST Ski Tours; in fact, we currently have as many as 50% of our ski tour guests join us because of word of mouth from friends and acquaintances or reading about it on the internet. What everyone has in common though and what makes this work is, everyone loves experiencing the magic of "the SST Ski Programs on tour" because they "fit the profile."
