Here we go again folks, welcome to your gateway to a two week super skiing experience in Italy & Austria. Following the 2019 tour to Kitzbuhel and St. Moritz then to Saalbach and Kronplatz in 2023, and the fabulous tour in 2024 to Val Gardena and Ischgl, for 2025 we've set our sights on skiing a week in the 2nd largest contiguous ski area in Austria called Ski Amade followed by a week in the Dolomiti's, a UNESCO World Heritage designated region and the worlds largest ski destination.

Every year, we've built on the experiences of the past tours and learned from your feedback. I believe that on this tour, we have blended the critical parts together in such a way that this will be our best tour ever. It's 9% more expensive than last years package but it's not the most expensive one we've ever offered.
Because we've added a return visit to the fabulous 5***** Hotel Winkler in Italy to the mix, the package is a tad more. As a bonus, they gave us a 10% discount and an awesome room selection that will be sure to please. Expect to have a whole new experience on the Austrian week with our visit to the expansive Ski Amade that stretches across two federal states (Styria and Salzburg).
17 of the 25 skiers pre-registered for this tour have been on previous European SST Ski Tours and an amazing 20 of the 25 people have been on tour with us previously to other destinations.

In 2012, we had our first taste of skiing in Austria when we ventured to St. Anton, and returned to Zurs, St. Anton, Lech und Oberlech in 2018 after they installed the Flexenbahn Super Lift.
In 2015 we skied zee Zillertal & Hintertux Region, then in 2019, skied the famous Kitzbuhel Super Ski Pass and in 2023 skied the ultra modern Saalbach/Hinterglemm Region.
The size of these domains is mind boggling and obviously, one visit leads you to think of the next one in order to ski more of this ski crazed Country. In January, 2024, our destination in Austria was Ischgl, Austria with 70 cable ways and lifts and 270 kilometers of ski slopes on the pass. For 2025, our destination in Austria will be the Schladming/Dachstein Region and part of the Ski Amade which offers guaranteed schnee on over 760 kilometers of groomed runs serviced by 270 cable cars and lifts and around 260 huts and on-mountain restaurants encompassing 25 resorts that we'll have to choose from. We will center our activity from the Hotel Alpina Alpendorf in the village of St. Johann im Pongau, Austria.

The second week will take us for our second time to The Plan de Corones San Lorenzo, Italy, to the Kronplatz Region to the #1 ski mountain in the Southern Tyrol and part of the Dolomiti Super-pass ski areas referred to as the harmonious carousel of 16 skiing areas and state of-the-art lift facilities with 1,200 km of daily groomed slopes and access to over 475 lifts and sunny slopes. Our package also includes a day of skiing at the Queen of the Dolomite's, Cortina D'ampezzo, home to the next Olympics in 2026.

This ski tour starts at Salzburg (SZG) , Austria. Book your inbound flight to arrive on Jan 25, 2025. The hotel for the evening of Saturday, January 25 (TBA) is included in the package but you can add extra hotel nights at the same hotel in Salzburg too if you'd like to sight-see or acclimate before the tour starts; please see the option at checkout if interested.
After our bus transfer from Salzburg on Sunday, we will settle in for our first week at our 4**** Superior Hotel Alpina Alpendorf in St Johann, Austria.
