    Ski Japan 2024
        January 4 - 20

The SST Japan Ski Tour 2024 is scheduled in to coincide with the famous Japanese Powder and will run from Jan 4 - 20, 2024; the tour is now officially in the planning stages.

We will fly to Tokyo and then on to the Lotte Arai Ski Resort, the winner of the 2020 World Ski Awards designation as the best ski resort in Japan for a week then followed by a week at Niseko United, the heart of powder skiing in Hokkaido.

Suffice it to say, it is by all accounts a bucket lister of a trip and is only possible perhaps because our suppliers have had 2 years off like everyone else and have had plenty of time to put together what is arguably SST Ski Tours best tour to Japan ever.   Although we can't say that we will ski the renowned epic powder that is so highly touted, we are certainly set up to deliver the goods should we be so fortunate to have favorable conditions, but we can say with certainty that we will have an unbelievable authentic Japanese experience, powder snow or not.

This trip is tailored to our every need from arrival in Tokyo to our departure.  Although the emphasis is on skiing, there will be an opportunity to see the amazing sights and sounds of Tokyo itself and possibly a side trip to visit the famous Snow Monkeys.  We will ride the Shinkasen Bullet Train from Tokyo to our destination in Honshu plus have a day off in Tokyo, to see and experience some of this massive city.

Our first ski destination, Lotte Arai Resort was not only awarded the best ski resort in Japan in 2020 but also awarded best ski resort for powder and Japan's best ski hotel.  The region is also well known for hot springs or onsens and natural Japanese hospitality, cuisine and culture.

All SST Ski Tours will host a maximum of 24 people and our guests tend to love skiing but also get along very well and enjoy dining, bathing, relaxing and touring the sites.  People entering Japan in 2023 must stay together as a tour group and follow all the Covid protocols that have become so necessary.
