The Senior Ski Team Program is a Whistler/Blackcomb Multi Day Pass Holder Package. The Program Founder, Coordinator and Head Coach is Wendell Moore.
Wendell has been active as a ski instructor and coach since 1971 and has taught in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Colombia as well as in New Zealand. He currently specializes in the Primary Movement Teaching System, PMTS as developed by Harald Harb and his current passion is the ski improvement program for senior skiers on Whistler Blackcomb known as the Senior Ski Team. He is a life long skier and has skied in Chile, Argentina, Italy, Switzerland and France and has "ski the world" on his bucket list.
The History and Timeline of the SST Program:
The 2003-04 season had 7 participants making up 1 Intrepid Team [with a dream.]
The 2004-05 season had 49 participants making 7 Teams.
The 2005-06 season had 98 participants or 14 Teams.
The 2006-07 season had 160 participants or 23 Teams.
The 2008-09 season had 225 participants or 32 Teams.
The 2009-10 season had 180 participants or 26 Teams.
The 2010-11 season had 230 participants or 33 Teams.

Our Goal
We want to provide a learning environment for the mature skier so that he or she can continue to pursue their love of skiing by staying on top of their technique and have access to the latest advancements. At the same time, it is a social environment that encourages and assists the participants to explore new terrain and find adventure with like minded people.
